Maintenance of cleaning machines
For a new device, we recommend doing this after 50 operating hours, then every 150 to 200 operating hours or after 2 years. If you have not used the high-pressure cleaner for a long time, we recommend servicing your Kranzle high-pressure cleaner to check that everything is still in good condition (e.g., valves, seals, etc.).
You can easily change the oil by draining the old oil through the oil plug at the rear of the high pressure washer (note: if the device is lying flat, this is the bottom). On 4-wheel devices, the oil plug is located on the bottom of the device. To add oil, we recommend using the universal Kranzle oil, which has the reference number 40093.2.
We have a universal oil that is specially designed for our Kranzle pressure washers. We therefore recommend using this oil. The reference number is 40093.2. We also have an oil for Honda engines, with the reference number SAE30.
Cleaning machines
A scrubber and a sweeper are both useful tools for cleaning and maintaining various surfaces, but they each have a different function. Here is the difference between a scrubber and a sweeper:
Scrubber: A scrubber is designed for thorough cleaning of floors by scrubbing and removing stubborn dirt, stains, and caked-on residue. It is ideal for use on hard floors such as tile, concrete, and marble. A scrubber usually has a water tank and a brush or disc system that rotates and cleans the floor with water, detergent, and mechanical action. The dirty water is collected in a separate tank or by means of a built-in suction function. Scrubber-dryers are often used in industrial environments, warehouses, shops, hospitals, and other places where thorough cleaning is required. Sweeper: A sweeper is designed to remove loose dirt, dust, leaves, and other small particles from the floor. It is ideal for use on both hard and soft floors, such as concrete, asphalt, carpets, and wooden floors. A sweeper uses rotating brushes or a suction system to sweep up the dirt and collect it in a dirt container or dust filter. Sweepers are often useful for quickly cleaning large areas, such as parking lots, warehouses, factory floors, and outdoor areas. The main difference between a scrubber and a sweeper is therefore the cleaning method. While a scrubber uses water and cleaning agents to thoroughly clean, a sweeper sweeps up dirt and dust without using water or cleaning agents. Both machines have their own applications and can complement each other in an effective cleaning routine, depending on the specific needs of the environment.
If you would like more information about scrubbing and sweeping machines or if you would like advice on which machine is most suitable for your specific needs, please feel free to contact Van Damme. Our expert staff are ready to help you make the right choice and provide high-quality cleaning solutions.
Cold water and hot water pressure washers are both powerful cleaning devices used to clean surfaces using high pressure water. However, they have different characteristics and applications. Here is the difference between a cold water and a hot water pressure washer:
Cold water pressure washer: A cold water pressure washer uses normal room temperature water that is sprayed under high pressure to remove dirt, dust, mud, and other contaminants from surfaces. Cold water pressure washers are effective for cleaning stubborn dirt and are ideal for outdoor use, such as cleaning facades, driveways, terraces, vehicles, and machinery. They are often portable and easy to use, and they offer an efficient cleaning solution without the additional energy consumption required to heat water.
Hot water pressure washer: A hot water pressure washer works in the same way as a cold water pressure washer, but with the difference that the water is heated before being sprayed under high pressure. Heating the water provides extra cleaning power, as hot water is better at dissolving grease, oil, grease deposits, and stubborn stains. Hot water pressure washers are particularly effective for cleaning industrial surfaces, such as grease in kitchens, oil contamination on workshop floors, and heavy industrial machinery. They are also useful in the food industry, the agricultural sector, and other environments where thorough cleaning is required.
The main difference between a cold water and a hot water pressure washer is therefore the temperature of the water used during the cleaning process. While a cold water pressure washer is excellent for general cleaning tasks, a hot water pressure washer offers extra power for removing grease and oil. The choice between the two depends on the specific cleaning needs of your application. At Van Damme, we can help you choose the right pressure washer to meet your needs. Feel free to contact us for more information, advice, and high-quality cleaning solutions.
